A former literature teacher, I am inspired by great works and great ideas. I enjoy being physically active, cutting through alleyways, listening to vinyl, taking photographs, and contemplating life. I am the creator of the blog: Zen for a Crazy World.
My first book, Ken Foster's Vancouver: Life, Art and Alleyways (Granville Island Publishing) is available at Indigo, Chapters, Coles, Book Warehouse, Amazon.ca, and various independent book sellers.
I have been fortunate to have my work shared or referenced by:
VanCity Buzz (now Daily Hive Vancouver)
Vancouver Breakfast Television
Love What Matters
British Columbia Magazine
The Ormsby Review
Vancouver is Awesome
The Globe and Mail
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Master of Arts Degree in Education and Leadership from Simon Fraser University. I completed an Executive Leadership Program at Rotman School of Management in 2014. I am also Associate Superintendent with West Vancouver Schools
