A former literature teacher, I am inspired by great works and great ideas. I enjoy being physically active, cutting through alleyways, listening to vinyl, taking photographs, and contemplating life. I am the creator of the blog: Zen for a Crazy World.
My first book, Ken Foster's Vancouver: Life, Art and Alleyways (Granville Island Publishing) is now available at Indigo, Chapters, Coles, Book Warehouse, Amazon.ca, and various independent book sellers.
I have been fortunate to have my work shared or referenced by:
VanCity Buzz (now Daily Hive Vancouver)
Vancouver Breakfast Television
Love What Matters
British Columbia Magazine
The Ormsby Review
Vancouver is Awesome
CFP (The Official Journal of the College of Canadian Family Physicians of Canada)
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Master of Arts Degree in Education and Leadership from Simon Fraser University. I completed an Executive Leadership Program at Rotman School of Management in 2014. I am also Associate Superintendent with West Vancouver Schools
